In Richard Holcomb's house, situated on 55 acres of rolling farmland, trees and ponds in Hillsborough, cans of peach preserves are piled up on the kitchen counter, marble-sized red onions roll around in a bowl and the scent of roast beef deliciously perfumes the air.
